GlobeSt. awards 2026 Woman of Influence honor to Lizann McGowan, Jen Weissberg

MINNEAPOLIS (April 15, 2026) — Northmarq is proud to announce that Lizann McGowan and Jen Weissberg have been named 2026 GlobeSt. Women of Influence, recognizing their leadership, performance and impact across the commercial real estate industry McGowan was honored in the Broker – Investment Sales category, while Weissberg was recognized as a Rising Star.
The annual award recognizes women who have made a meaningful impact on the commercial real estate industry through leadership and performance.
Lizann McGowan

Lizann McGowan, managing director of the firm’s Investment Sales team in the Greater Philadelphia region, has been a leader in commercial real estate in for more than 25 years and currently specializes in multifamily capital markets across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Over her career, she has completed more than $12.3 billion in transactions, including some of the region’s largest, most complex and record setting deals. McGowan’s integrity, professionalism and strong advocacy for her clients have consistently earned her repeat business from multiple clients.
In addition to her transactional accomplishments, McGowan is recognized for her leadership and mentorship within Northmarq and the broader community. She serves on the firm’s Institutional Advisory Group, mentors young brokerage professionals, and remains actively engaged with Villanova University through alumni leadership, advisory roles and guest lecturing. She also serves in several civic and community organizations and has received numerous industry honors throughout her career.
Jen Weissberg

Jen Weissberg is senior vice president and director of Operations and Business Transformation at Northmarq and is based in Denver. She leads a team of more than 40 supporting Servicing Operations across the firm and has played a key role in advancing the firm’s operational and technology capabilities — including leading the launch of the firm’s proprietary Lender Gateway and Client Gateway platforms.
Recognized as a Rising Star, Weissberg is known for leading transformative initiatives during periods of change. Her work has included implementing new document management and workflow systems, driving automation and operational efficiencies, and establishing teams and governance structures to support long-term innovation. In addition to her operational leadership, Weissberg is active in industry organizations, serves on Northmarq’s Technology Steering Committee, and is a recipient of Northmarq’s Karen Pribnow Award for Outstanding Leadership.
McGowan and Weissberg will be honored at GlobeSt.’s Women of Influence awards dinner in Denver on July 13.
