Northmarq secures $48M construction loan for CityView Station Apartments in Cincinnati MSA
CINCINNATI — Northmarq’s Cincinnati Debt + Equity team led by Noah Juran and Brendan Barker in collaboration with Annamarie Bjorklund and Bobby Schiavone successfully arranged $48 million in construction financing for Cityview Station Apartments, a planned 273-unit multifamily community in Ludlow, Kentucky, part of the Cincinnati metro area.
The financing was secured on behalf of Acendion Collective through Northmarq’s collaborative relationship with First Financial Bank and Associated Bank.
“We are very excited for our client to get this deal across the finish line,” said Juran. “Securing and closing the construction financing for their first project was a significant achievement for Acendion Collective as they look to grow their multifamily development platform.”
Located just four miles from downtown Cincinnati, Cityview Station will offer residents direct access to Interstate 75 and Highway Avenue, placing them minutes from Covington, Newport, Over-the-Rhine, Fountain Square, and the Cincinnati Riverfront. The development blends suburban tranquility with urban convenience, making it a compelling destination for renters seeking connectivity and lifestyle amenities.
“All parties significantly contributed to the partnership among Acendion, First Financial Bank, Associated Bank and Northmarq to ensure the deal closed punctually and as originally outlined,” Juran added. “The Cityview development adds much needed quality rental housing for the city of Ludlow which is experiencing population growth and increasing home prices.”
The project will include a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units including balconies, river views, city views, high-end condo like finishes, top floor city view community space, pool, co-working spaces, state-of-the-art fitness center, private garages, individual storage units, and a pet washing station, among others.
“The project design ensures that every aspect of living is elevated,” Juran noted.
The nine-acre site is positioned at the northern edge of a 64-acre master-planned community by Fischer Homes. Construction began in September 2025, with building deliveries slated for Q2 2027.
