Taylor Francis

Taylor Francis is a vice president on Northmarq's Debt + Equity team based in its Newport Beach office. He specializes in loan originations for multifamily properties, bringing more than five years of multifamily real estate experience to his role.

Taylor began his career at Newmark, where he joined as an intern and sales analyst. There, he built a foundational understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals that would shape his professional trajectory. He then joined Berkadia, where he spent two years in loan servicing and asset management, developing expertise in handling distressed properties and creating strategic paths for clients to improve asset performance and occupancy.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Taylor served as a production analyst at NewPoint for two years, where he advanced his skills in underwriting, lender standards and deal management — rounding out a well-developed foundation across the full commercial real estate capital stack.

Taylor holds a bachelor's degree in general social science with a focus in business and economics from the University of Oregon, where he also earned a minor in entrepreneurship. He maintains an active California Real Estate Salesperson license.
