Reese Weaver

Reese Weaver is a senior associate on Northmarq's Student Housing team, based in New Orleans. Reese focuses on business development for the team, cultivating client relationships and sourcing new transaction opportunities across the student housing sector.

Reese joined Northmarq from Newmark, where he spent several years working on institutional student housing investment sales. Over that time, he contributed to more than $6 billion in student housing transactions spanning investment sales, debt, and equity. He later served as Director of Capital Markets at Besen Partners, where he led the firm's financing efforts. Reese began his career as an intern with Stonegate Capital Partners, a boutique investment banking and capital markets firm.

With experience across both the investment sales and debt and equity sides of the business, Reese offers clients a well-rounded, capital-markets perspective. Reese holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in finance from the University of Georgia.
