Phillip Kelly

Phillip Kelly is a senior associate in Northmarq’s Atlanta office and a member of the firm’s National Healthcare Group. He advises investors and owner operators on the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of healthcare real estate nationwide.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Phillip served as a commercial real estate advisor at a regional brokerage firm where he specialized in investment sales and advisory assignments for medical office and healthcare properties throughout the Southeast. Earlier in his career, he supported Healthcare Capital Markets initiatives at Matthews, advising clients on the acquisition and disposition of healthcare real estate and gaining experience working with both institutional and private capital sources, including financing solutions for providers and healthcare organizations.

Phillip began his career in the medical field, practicing as an Optometrist in both corporate and private practice. His clinical background provides valuable insight into physician level and business decision making — particularly how real estate considerations intersect with patient care, practice ownership, operational planning, and long term provider objectives.

By closely tracking market trends, provider growth strategies, and investor activity within the healthcare real estate landscape, Phillip provides strategic guidance to healthcare owners and buyers across the country. 

Phillip earned his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University, a Master of Science (M.S.) in biomedical sciences from Mississippi College and a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from the Kentucky College of Optometry.
