Jeffrey Erxleben

In 2026, Jeff Erxleben was named president of Capital Markets to lead Northmarq’s national debt, equity and investment sales platforms across more than 50 regional offices.

During his 23-year tenure with Northmarq, he most recently served as president of Northmarq’s Debt and Equity platform. As a member of the company’s executive committee, he helps shape the company’s strategic direction, leading initiatives that integrate capital markets capabilities and align the firm’s lending, capital placement, and investment sales businesses to deliver comprehensive client solutions. 

Jeff has extensive experience in capital markets, advising clients on a wide range of joint venture equity, structured finance, and core debt strategies. He is known for his deep capital relationships and market insight, developed through prior service on Fannie Mae’s Originator Subcommittee and Freddie Mac’s Seller/Servicer Advisory Board, as well as advisory roles with several key correspondent life companies. He is a past chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association Originator Council and an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Council.

Jeff is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he is actively involved in the Folsom Institute for Real Estate and SMU’s Life After Ball program.
