Jack Hetzer
Jack Hetzer is a senior associate at Northmarq Fund Management. Out of the firm’s Richmond office, Jack is responsible for the valuation and portfolio monitoring of the firm’s real estate investments, including quarterly fair value analysis across a portfolio of commercial real estate credit and equity positions. He also supports fund operations, financial reporting and audit coordination for the Thirdline Real Estate Income Fund (TREIX), an interval fund.
Jack has been with Thirdline Capital Management since 2023, which merged with Northmarq in 2026. At Thirdline, he managed the quarterly valuation of the firm’s debt, mezzanine debt, preferred equity and equity investments, and assisted in the diligence of new deals. He also oversaw the operations, accounting and financial reporting of TREIX and managed the fund’s annual audit.
Jack began his career at KPMG, where he worked in the Deal Advisory group in Tysons Corner, Virginia, from 2019 to 2022. He provided financial and commercial due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions for strategic buyers and private equity sponsors, and supported M&A engagements for several multi-billion dollar businesses across industries including government contracting, aerospace and defense, supply chain and logistics, and consumer and retail.
Jack received a bachelor’s degree in finance and a second bachelor’s degree in accounting and information systems from Virginia Tech. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog. He is an avid golfer, enjoys fishing and being at the beach, and loves spending time and playing games with family and friends.
