Northmarq announces formation of 9th national group focused on net lease and sale leaseback expertise
MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 20, 2025) — Northmarq is excited to announce the strategic launch of its ninth national commercial real estate practice group, highlighting its net lease and sale leaseback expertise and further solidifying its leadership in specialized investment sales and capital markets.
The newly-established National Net Lease and Sale Leaseback Group joins three previously-existing specialty groups — it’s National Healthcare Group, National Shopping Center Group and National Restaurant Group. All four demonstrate Northmarq’s ability to serve its clients with industry-focused expertise across the country.

The national group will be co-led by Ryan Butler (Tulsa), Isaiah Harf (Chicago) and Anthony Cohen (Los Angeles), all highly regarded leaders in the net lease and sale leaseback spaces.

The team will work closely with Northmarq’s Net Lease Financing team of John Banas (Debt + Equity, Philadelphia), Jada Purchase (D+E, St. Louis), Morgan Machado (D+E, Newport Beach) and Brandy Buttram (D+E, San Francisco), continuing to offer full-service offerings for its clients.
