Managing Director Lizann McGowan named Connect CRE 2025 Women in Real Estate Award winner
PHILADELPHIA (Nov. 3, 2025) — Northmarq is excited to announce that Lizann McGowan, managing director of Investment Sales in the Greater Philadelphia region, has been selected as a 2025 Women in Real Estate Award winner by Connect CRE.
The annual awards recognize women whose talent, leadership and innovation have made a lasting impact on the commercial real estate industry. McGowan was honored for her professional excellence, mentorship and community involvement.
With more than 25 years in the industry, McGowan has led multifamily investment sales teams at Northmarq, CBRE and Newmark. She has been involved in transactions totaling more than $12 billion, including the $233 million sale of 1500 Locust, the largest single-asset sale in Pennsylvania at the time.
McGowan is a member of Northmarq’s Institutional Advisory Group and actively mentors young brokerage professionals. She also serves on several community boards, including the Newtown Township Planning Commission and the Enrollment Advisory Board of the Academy of Notre Dame.
A Villanova University alumna, McGowan has served on the Villanova Alumni Association Board of Directors and the Advisory Board for the DiLella Real Estate School. She frequently mentors students and has guest lectured at the university.
Her commitment to integrity and client service has earned her repeat business from institutional investors and numerous accolades, including the Women of Distinction Award from the Philadelphia Business Journal and “Deal of the Year” honors for the 1500 Locust transaction.
