Bud Cauley wins first PGA TOUR title with Northmarq partnership in spotlight

Bud Cauley is officially a PGA TOUR winner — marking a defining moment in his career and a milestone for Northmarq’s partnership with the professional golfer.
Cauley captured his first PGA TOUR victory at the RBC Canadian Open, finishing 17 under and closing with a 5-under 65 to secure the win in his 239th event.
As he celebrated on the 18th green, Northmarq’s logo — worn on his hat as part of the firm’s sponsorship — was prominently visible throughout broadcast coverage, photography and post-round interviews.
“We couldn’t be happier for Bud,” said Northmarq CEO Jeffrey Weidell. “What he’s overcome to reach this moment is truly extraordinary. To see him break through as a PGA TOUR winner is incredibly meaningful — and not necessarily a surprise to us — for him, his family and everyone who has followed his journey.”
Cauley’s win follows a remarkable comeback after a serious 2018 car accident that left his career in doubt. Years of recovery and persistence eventually led to this breakthrough moment — one defined not only by performance, but by resilience.
“Northmarq truly values Bud's relationship with us," Weidell added, "and we know there will be more success to come."
