Chris Compton

Chris Compton is a vice president on our Debt + Equity team based in Houston. He joined Northmarq in January of 2021 and specializes in originating debt and equity financing for commercial real estate transactions. Chris has closed over $360 million in originated capital for industrial, multifamily, retail, office, medical, and additional property types. His focus has been retail and industrial properties throughout the Southeast, Pacific Northwest, and Texas.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Chris served nine years in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Flight Officer in the EA-18 Growler. He completed multiple deployments and earned the prestigious Growler Tactics Instructor qualification. 

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity University in San Antonio and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
