Northmarq grows National Restaurant Group with addition of industry veteran Will Pural as SVP
MINNEAPOLIS (June 18, 2025) — Northmarq is proud to announce the addition of Will Pural as senior vice president within its National Restaurant Group. Based in San Diego, Pural will focus on advisory, consulting and transactional services for net lease properties nationwide, specifically within the restaurant and quick-service restaurant (QSR) space.
With over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, Pural brings deep expertise and a proven track record in the acquisition, disposition, lease negotiation, site selection and development of QSR and restaurant assets. His client-first approach, paired with extensive relationships across private investors, tenants, developers, lenders and institutions, has earned him a strong reputation for delivering strategic results tailored to each client’s investment goals.
“Will brings deep experience within the net lease restaurant sector, along with a proven ability to deliver results for clients across all stages of their investment lifecycle,” said Curtis Hodges, regional managing director of Commercial Investment Sales at Northmarq. “His track record, institutional and private client relationships, and energized leadership style make him a perfect fit to continue the growth for our National Restaurant Group.”
Prior to joining Northmarq, Pural served as senior vice president of investments at CIRE Partners, where he was instrumental in closing more than 300 transactions valued at over $2 billion during his tenure.
“I am very excited to join the Northmarq team and the firm’s National Restaurant Group,” Pural said. “This is a phenomenal opportunity to further my career and assist all of my clients from the private to institutional levels, as the resources available at Northmarq are second to none.”
Pural will join the firm's National Restaurant Group, which includes Matt Lipson (Portland), Mike Philbin (San Diego) and Jada Purchase (St. Louis).
“Will has the one of the sharpest real estate minds I’ve been around and has a long history of meticulously transacting restaurant investment sales as well as negotiating hundreds of leases with franchisees and franchisors,” Lipson said. “We couldn’t be happier to have Will be a part of the team and are looking forward to seeing how far he can elevate his already strong track record and take the National Restaurant Group to another level.”
Pural is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a focus on real estate and finance from San Diego State University.
