Ed Rosen, John Chu, and Tyler Sinks join Northmarq’s multifamily investment sales platform in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (Jan. 25, 2024) — Northmarq announced today that Ed Rosen, managing director, and John Chu, managing director, along with Tyler Sinks, senior vice president, have joined the company’s multifamily investment sales platform in its San Diego office. The team will support clients and help expand the company’s multifamily advisory business throughout Southern California.

Rosen brings 35 years of experience in private client and institutional investment sales to Northmarq. He joins the company following an accomplished eight-year tenure at Berkadia, where he served as managing director.

Chu has over 35 years of commercial real estate experience, specializing in multifamily communities with a focus on the Southern California and Las Vegas marketplaces. Most recently, he served as managing director at Berkadia for eight years.

With more than a decade of multifamily experience, Sinks advises clients on all aspects of multifamily investments, including acquisition, development, financing, operations and dispositions. He most recently served as senior director at Berkadia.

Collectively, this team has completed nearly 500 transactions with total consideration of more than $17 billion.

This new team will report directly to Vince Norris, regional managing director based in Westlake Village, Calif. They will work closely with Northmarq’s San Diego Debt + Equity team, including Aaron Beck, senior vice president – managing director, Eric Flyckt, senior vice president – managing director, Wyatt Campbell, vice president – producer, and Conor Freeman, vice president – producer.
