Connect CRE names Isaac Cloos a Next Gen Award honoree in Chicago & Midwest region
CHICAGO (June 29, 2026) — Northmarq’s Isaac Cloos, commercial insurance risk manager of Loan Servicing, has been named a 2026 Next Generation Award winner by Connect CRE for the Chicago & Midwest region, recognizing top young professionals across the commercial real estate industry.
Cloos oversees several of the firm’s key lender relationships, including Guggenheim, Lincoln and Freddie Mac. In his role, he helps plan and execute strategic goals, manages a pipeline of loan closings and ensures compliance with lender insurance requirements throughout the pre-closing process.
Since joining the pre-closing team in 2022, Cloos has assisted in closing approximately 400 loans totaling $7.725 billion in unpaid principal balance, supporting borrowers and lenders in securing compliant insurance solutions ahead of closing.
Among his notable contributions, Cloos facilitated insurance review and onboarding for a $512 million, four-tranche Freddie Mac credit facility that refinanced and recapitalized a 13-property multifamily portfolio across the Kansas City and Dallas metro areas. The complex structure provided long-term financing certainty while maximizing proceeds and flexibility for future growth.
In addition to his transaction work, Cloos plays an active role in mentoring and training team members while contributing to departmental strategic initiatives focused on efficiency and growth. He also helped expand Northmarq’s capabilities by supporting a new opportunity to provide third-party pre-closing insurance consulting services.

His leadership and contributions have earned internal recognition, including Northmarq’s Champion Award in 2025 and Excellence in Servicing Award in 2023.
