Ed Rosen is managing director of multifamily investment sales in Northmarq’s San Diego office, responsible for multifamily advisory client coverage throughout Southern California. 

Ed has over 35 years of commercial real estate experience representing private capital and institutional clients in multifamily investment sales. Along with his partners, John Chu and Tyler Sinks, Ed and his team have completed nearly 500 transactions with total consideration of more than $17 billion. 

Before joining Northmarq in 2024, Ed was a managing director at Berkadia for eight years. Prior to that, he held a managing director role at Cushman & Wakefield and Burnham Real Estate, where he was a perennial top producer. He has been a consistent “CoStar Power Broker” in the Southern California region.

Ed received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from San Diego State University in 1987 and is still an active alumnus involved in funding SDSU athletics. He is a member of the San Diego Apartment Association and an active member of and contributor to the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC). Additionally, Ed is involved in several civic organizations, including the Children’s Hospital and Health Center and the United Jewish Community Center, and provides ongoing support to the La Jolla Playhouse, Conrad Prebys Hospital and The University of San Diego Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate.
