Briana DeHaan is a senior vice president in Northmarq’s San Francisco office. She places both debt and equity for her clients, leveraging her knowledge of the market, a reliable out-to-market strategy and strong relationships with lenders to bring the best capital markets execution to her clients. In particular, Briana utilizes Northmarq’s deep relationships with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA HUD, life insurance companies, banks and debt funds to source competitive debt options and deliver reliable results to her clients. During her career at Northmarq, she has been involved with closing over $2 billion in debt and equity transactions covering the full spectrum of property and transaction types.


Briana is an active member of NAIOP, where she currently serves as co-chair of the Young Professionals Group Alumni Committee. Deeply rooted to the University of California, Berkeley and Haas School of Business through her education, Briana is also on the Board of Directors of the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association (BREAA). Additional organizations that keep her connected and in front of market trends are Urban Land Institute San Francisco, the Bay Area Mortgage Association, the Mortgage Bankers Association and CREW.


Briana earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Berkeley where she graduated with honors. She later earned her Master of Business Administration degree at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. As an undergraduate at U.C., Berkeley, Briana played on the Women's Division I Field Hockey team. She continues to pursue her passion for sports and team camaraderie by competing on the Olympic Club’s Women’s Field Hockey team in San Francisco.
