Northmarq welcomes Lucas Goring, senior vice president, to growing Minnesota team
MINNEAPOLIS (Aug. 19, 2024) — Northmarq is pleased to announce the expansion of its Minneapolis Debt + Equity team by welcoming Senior Vice President Lucas Goring, who will source debt and equity across various asset classes and help expand our client offerings in this market.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Northmarq team in Minneapolis,” said Goring. “The company’s stellar reputation speaks for itself and with access to major lending sources and an exceptional investment sales team, I’m confident I’ll be able to deliver significant value to my clients as the lending landscape continues to evolve."
Goring brings extensive experience in the origination, structuring, placement and closing of several income-producing property types, including multifamily, industrial, office, medical office, retail, mixed-use, hospitality and parking lots, predominantly in the Twin Cities.
Goring will report to Dan Trebil, regional managing director of Debt + Equity in Northmarq’s Minneapolis office.
“We are very excited to welcome Lucas to the team,” said Trebil. “Lucas is a proven, veteran producer with extensive borrower and lender relationships and will be a great addition as we continue to grow our Minneapolis platform.”
Prior to joining Northmarq, Goring served as a principal at BWE focused on originating debt and equity both locally and nationally. Goring spent 15 years arranging financing for various real estate investors, including publicly traded REITs, funds, regional and local developers, high-net-worth individuals and family trusts. He has held positions at Venture Mortgage and Welsh Capital (now Colliers).
Goring holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business. He also serves on the board of the Hopkins Baseball Association, where he coaches baseball.
