Northmarq welcomes Brett Benton, senior vice president, to lead multifamily investment sales in Houston
HOUSTON (Nov. 14, 2024) — Northmarq announced the expansion of its Multifamily Investment Sales service line with the addition of Senior Vice President Brett Benton to its Houston office. Benton, a seasoned professional in multifamily transactions, will lead Northmarq’s multifamily investment sales efforts in Houston and surrounding secondary and tertiary markets.

Benton joins Northmarq from Disrupt Equity, where he served as director of capital markets, responsible for sourcing investment opportunities and building new debt and equity relationships. Prior to Disrupt Equity, Benton spent nine years at Newmark, where he served as an investment sales director assisting clients in the disposition of multifamily assets and handling all facets of the marketing process, including pricing, valuation and transaction negotiation.
Benton will report to Taylor Snoddy, regional managing director of multifamily investment sales based in Northmarq’s Dallas office.
