Northmarq expands Richmond office with addition of Dave Howard as senior vice president
MINNEAPOLIS (June 16, 2025) — Northmarq is pleased to announce that Dave Howard has joined the firm’s Richmond office as senior vice president of Debt + Equity. In this role, Howard will be responsible for sourcing debt and equity capital across all commercial real estate asset classes, while expanding Northmarq’s client relationships throughout the region.

Howard brings more than 40 years of experience in traditional banking and commercial mortgage banking, with a strong track record of structuring and closing complex transactions. Prior to joining Northmarq, he served as the Richmond Regional Executive at Citizens and Farmers Bank, where he secured financing for some of the top real estate developers and owners throughout the commonwealth of Virginia.

Dave earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in real estate and finance from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a licensed real estate broker in Virginia and has served in numerous leadership roles in civic and professional organizations, including as Board Chair of Virginia Voice in 2019.
