Northmarq climbs to No. 2 in Multi-Housing News’ 2026 Top Brokerage Firms ranking
MINNEAPOLIS (June 12, 2026) — Northmarq has been honored by Multi-Housing News (MHN) as one of the top multifamily brokerage firms in its 2026 Top Brokerage Firms ranking.
Northmarq moved up to second place in this year’s ranking, rising from its No. 4 position in 2025. The firm’s more than 100 multifamily brokers helped complete $5.5 billion in transactions during the past year, an increase from $4.6 billion in 2024.
MHN’s annual ranking highlights 15 leading firms across the multifamily investment sales sector and evaluates performance based on a range of factors, including investment sales volume, firm growth and overall market presence.
Among last year’s notable transactions, Northmarq’s Salt Lake City Multifamily Investment Sales team, led by Mark Jensen and , Rawley Nielsen and Darren Nielsen, represented Centerspace in its entry into the Salt Lake City market with the acquisition of Sugarmont Apartments, a 341-unit luxury asset. The $149 million sale was Utah’s largest multifamily transaction in nearly five years.
