David Vinson

David Vinson is a managing director in Northmarq's Raleigh office where he joined in 2013. He focuses primarily on debt and equity placement on behalf of owners of multifamily and commercial real estate assets throughout the US, with a particular focus on the Carolinas region. David brings 15+ years of capital markets experience, during which he has completed more than $1 billion in transaction volume.

Prior to joining Northmarq, David spent over two years with Berkeley Capital Advisors, a Charlotte, NC-based boutique investment sales firm focused on the sale of retail investment properties in the Southeastern United States. Prior to joining Berkeley Capital Advisors, David spent five years with Wachovia/Wells Fargo, including three years as an analyst in Wachovia Securities fixed income division and two years as an asset manager in the bank’s commercial real estate owned group, focused on the management and disposition of distressed commercial real estate assets.

David received his B.S. degree in finance from the Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University.
