Ryan Whitaker promoted to managing director of NorthMarq Capital’s Jacksonville office

JACKSONVILLE (January 15, 2018) – The Jacksonville regional office of NorthMarq Capital is proud to announce the promotion of Ryan Whitaker to managing director, joining Joel Coykendall in office leadership.

“We are delighted with Ryan’s promotion to managing director of our Jacksonville office. Since joining NorthMarq in 2011, Ryan has been appointed twice to our prestigious Producer’s Council, which consists of our top 10 originators amongst non-managing producers nationwide,” said Jeff Erxleben, executive vice president/regional managing director. “We expect Ryan’s leadership to benefit our company and our clients, building upon the office’s track record.”

“Ryan’s promotion is the result of his commitment to our clients,” noted Joel Coykendall, senior vice president/managing director. “Having worked in the trenches with him for many transactions, I have grown accustomed to his remarkable commitment and detailed technical work on behalf of clients and lenders. I’m looking forward to seeing our office benefit from his leadership.”

Whitaker earned his MBA from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he also competed as a Division I wrestler. He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida.

Whitaker is active in his community and has served on the local Board of Directors in Northeast Florida for the following organizations: National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP), Urban Land Institute (ULI) and Jacksonville Community Council Inc. (JCCI) Forward. Whitaker started the Developing Leaders program for the Northeast Florida Chapter of NAIOP and was honored as its Emerging Professional of the Year in 2008. He was also honored by the Jacksonville Business Journal as one of the Top 40 under 40 executives in 2007.
