NorthMarq Capital’s Martha Nevanen joins Aeon Board of Directors

MINNEAPOLIS (June 7, 2018) – NorthMarq Capital, a leader in financing commercial real estate throughout the United States, announced that Martha Nevanen, senior vice president-Marketing Communications, has joined Aeon’s Board of Directors with four other new members. Nevanen, with NorthMarq Capital since 2008, has led the marketing communication efforts for firms in commercial real estate since 2002. She has more than 25 years of experience in strategic marketing communications. “I’m looking forward to supporting Aeon’s plans to help more people find homes – and leveraging my background where I can provide value,” she said. She has also served on the local and regional boards of IABC, chaired the communications committee for NAIOP-MN and volunteered for CornerHouse and the Commercial Real Estate Diversity Collaborative. Aeon, a nonprofit developer, owner and manager of high-quality affordable apartments and townhomes serving nearly 8,000 people annually in the Twin Cities area, has a 16-person board of directors. NorthMarq Capital is a long-time supporter of Aeon, from financial, volunteer and leadership support along with community service projects to support Aeon’s residents. Since 1986, Aeon has been committed to helping people create homes where they feel safe and connected to the community around them.
