Jake Lamb highlighted as CRE Future Leader by REJournals
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (December 14, 2022) - Jake Lamb, associate - investment sales in Northmarq's Chicago office was recently selected as a CRE Future Leader by REJournals. Lamb has worked in the industry since graduating from the University of Missouri and his goal is to serve as a trusted advisor to his clients as they navigate the uncertainty of today's commercial real estate market.
Tell us about your background. Where did you grow up, where did you go to school?
Jake Lamb: I grew up in the Kansas City area and attended the University of Missouri. I moved to Chicago after school and have lived here for about three years now.
How did you get your start in the industry?
Lamb: Prior to Northmarq, I worked for a multifamily and industrial developer based in Kansas City. While I enjoyed the development side, I saw my future on the brokerage side and jumped at an opportunity at Northmarq presented to me by Dom Martinez, a close family friend and now colleague.
Did you have a mentor who helped you get on your feet, or is there someone you turn to now for support?
Lamb: My colleague and mentor, Alex Malzone, has been instrumental in my development as an Investment Sales producer. I lean on him daily for advice and will continue to do so in the future.
