Erik Anderson promoted to vice president of investment sales in Northmarq’s San Diego office

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA (August 16, 2022) — Erik Anderson has been promoted to vice president – investment sales in Northmarq’s San Diego office. Anderson joined Northmarq in 2020 as an associate vice president – investment sales, where he has assisted the team in the pursuit and development of relationships with private and middle-market level clients in the multifamily space.

In his new role, Anderson will continue working with Kyle Pinkalla, managing director – investment sales, to provide a wholistic approach to assisting middle-market and institutional level clients. Anderson’s experience includes 1031 exchanges, asset valuations, and creating opportunities on and off-market while forming deep rooted relationships with his clients.

Since joining Northmarq, Anderson has created a name for himself within San Diego as an integral part of identifying and closing transactions for some of the largest and most active private clients and middle-market players in the space. Recently, he was selected as a winner of the ’40 Next Top Business Leaders Under Forty 2021’ by the San Diego Business Journal, an award given to the next generation of movers and shakers within all of San Diego.

Prior to Northmarq, Anderson worked at CBRE. While there, he transitioned his career to focusing solely on multifamily from all product types. He was recognized as a Rising Leader and was the second highest producing associate region-wide and was promoted to senior associate within the first year of joining the company.

Erik is active in the San Diego community, having served on the Developing Leaders board for NAIOP San Diego, belonging to ULI and various charitable organizations. Erik received a bachelor’s degree in Regional Development from the University of Arizona.
