Randy Luce

As investment analyst of NorthMarq’s San Diego office, Randy is responsible for providing debt and equity underwriting, due diligence, servicing inspections and closing coordination to the production team.

Before joining NorthMarq (2008-2013), Randy provided tax credit consulting services for historic, new markets and affordable housing tax credits, including the analysis of energy saving upgrades for owners of real estate projects. From 1998 to 2008, he worked as a senior loan underwriter for the bridge lending program of the Affordable Housing Group at CAPMARK/GMAC Commercial Mortgage. This assignment included two years of equity work-out experience on non-performing equity investments in affordable housing projects. Previous experience to 1998 includes commercial mortgage underwriting and placement, liquidation/disposition of assets for the trustee of a bankrupt commercial real estate lender, management of equity investments in SFR projects for a Savings & Loan and the development of affordable housing projects for a local housing agency.

Previous to a career in real estate, Randy was an aviator for the US Navy. He is a member and mentor at Foothills Christian Church in El Cajon, California.
