Bracken Ostler is a vice president at Northmarq. He assists in sourcing and closing commercial real estate debt and equity. Bracken prides himself on providing the borrower with the most competitive capital available on the market to meet their needs. He joined Northmarq's Salt Lake City office in 2019 as an investment analyst and has assisted in sourcing and closing over $2B in real estate debt and equity. Bracken has experience in sourcing capital in all property types, including multifamily, industrial, retail, office, and self-storage. He has worked with diverse lending sources ranging from agencies, life companies, CMBS, banks, credit unions, debt funds and private capital. His proficiency covers a wide range of loan structures, including permanent, construction, bridge and construction-perm loans.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Bracken served at Veterans First Mortgage (VFM) in Salt Lake City. He was the head of Marketing Partner Operations, which included negotiations for the acquisition of 40,000 to 60,000 mortgage leads monthly from several affiliate partners. Responsibilities included optimizing and analyzing lead partner campaigns to ensure that VFM was buying the right leads at the right price, leading to thousands of originated loans for VFM. Bracken also built list views and reports in Salesforce, used by call center employees, to nurture potential borrowers to future homeownership. Prior to his time in marketing, Bracken worked in sales at VFM and was a top performer.

Bracken is a member of the Mortgage Banking Association and is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Utah. He currently serves managing the finances and administration for a local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints congregation. Bracken enjoys golfing, exercising and spending time with his family.

Bracken graduated from the University of Utah in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in finance and was a member of the Finance Club. Bracken was included on The Dean's List every semester.
