Northmarq brokers $29 million sale of multifamily portfolio in Springfield, Illinois

The St. Louis debt/equity team arranged $19,532,000 in acquisition financing for the property

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI (June 28, 2022) – Parker Stewart, managing director – investment sales and Alex Malzone, senior associate - investment sales in Northmarq’s St. Louis office, completed the $29 million sale of Koke Mill Portfolio. The three-property portfolio consists of 308 total units. Northmarq represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction. 

The properties include:

• West Koke Mill Village - 2400 Boysenberry Ln, Springfield, Illinois; 144 Units
• Boysenberry Village - 2312 Boysenberry Ln, Springfield, Illinois; 80 Units 
• Smythberry Village - 3331 Smythberry Ln, Springfield, Illinois; 84 Units

David Garfinkel, senior vice president/managing director of Northmarq’s St. Louis debt/equity office, arranged acquisition financing of $19.532 million for portfolio. Northmarq secured financing for the borrower through its in-house Fannie Mae team.
