Northmarq adds Bay Area investment sales team led by Anthony Pappageorge

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. (March 27, 2023) — Northmarq is pleased to announce that Anthony Pappageorge, Zach LeBeouf and Marcus de la Pena have joined the firm as managing director, senior vice president, and associate, respectively, in its Walnut Creek office. Pappageorge will lead Northmarq’s investment sales team covering the Greater Bay Area and Northern California markets, specializing in value-add and stabilized multifamily and self-storage assets with private client and syndication groups.

The new investment sales team will collaborate with Northmarq’s San Francisco debt & equity team led by managing directors Nathan Prouty and Dennis Williams. The team is consistently among the company’s top originators, financing office, R&D, retail, multifamily, hospitality and industrial assets with institutional capital sources.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Pappageorge was an executive managing director with Newmark/Cornish & Carey, where he specialized in assisting clients in their 1031 exchange needs both in marketing & transacting on their downleg and sourcing their upleg. He has been responsible for more than $2 billion of transaction volume.

LeBeouf was a senior managing director with Newmark, where he represented both private and institutional clients in evaluating and transacting on investment sales. He started his real estate career as a market research coordinator with Newmark and then transitioned into a brokerage role with the firm. He was recognized as Newmark’s Northern California Rookie of the year in 2016 and as a Newmark National Top performer in 2019, 2021 and 2022.

De la Pena spent the past two years as an associate with Newmark. During this time he assisted in the valuation and disposition of Self Storage Facilities for private clients throughout California. His further background includes residential lending, commercial property management and construction.
