About
David joined Northmarq in 2016 and is located in the Denver regional office, bringing more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate investment and finance. As an investment analyst, he is responsible for providing commercial real estate investment analysis, underwriting, due diligence and other support to the Denver regional office. Dave specializes in office and industrial property and also has extensive experience with retail and multifamily, as well as niche markets, such as mobile home parks and self-storage facilities.
Prior to joining NorthMarq, Dave was a broker and consultant with Terrace Real Estate Advisors. Prior to that he has been a loan originator with Centennial Lending and with CoreFirst Bank, and a portfolio manager with MONY Life Insurance Company where he was responsible for maximizing portfolio value through structured debt and equity transactions, and new business development in the Rocky Mountain Region and nationally. Dave has been involved in over $3 billion in transaction volume since 1996 with such clients and partners as AXA Financial, Equitable Life, MetLife, Russell Investments, NYSTRS, SWIB, Duke Realty, Transwestern and others.
Serving the community, Dave is a member of the City of Littleton Planning Board and a Trustee on the South Suburban Park Foundation board. He has also served as an advisor on several committees within the South Metro Denver Chamber. Dave holds Master’s degrees in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and in Finance, Investments & Banking from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He holds a Colorado Real Estate Broker’s License and is a past board member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.
