NorthMarq Capital’s San Antonio office completes refinance of Renaissance Plaza in San Antonio, Texas

SAN ANTONIO (January 16, 2017) – Bryan Leonard, senior vice president/managing director of NorthMarq Capital’s San Antonio-based regional office, arranged refinancing of Renaissance Plaza, a 201,264 sq. ft. office property located at 70 NE Loop 410 in San Antonio, Texas. The transaction was structured with a 10-year term on a 25-year amortization schedule. NorthMarq arranged financing for the borrower through its correspondent relationship with a life insurance company. “Renaissance Plaza has long been an iconic asset in the north central San Antonio submarket as evidenced by its enviable roster of tenants,” said Leonard. “The owner has made significant investments in energy efficiency and the modernization of common areas and tenant spaces. It is a Silver LEED certified building and is an excellent investment value proposition for both our correspondent lender and borrower.”
