DENVER (July 28, 2014) – Stephen Bye, executive vice president/managing director and Mark Lindgren, investment analyst of NorthMarq Capital’s Denver based regional office secured the $3.34 million acquisition financing of Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage, a 13,251 sq.ft. retail property located at 1301 West 23rd Street in Lawrence, Kansas. The property is adjacent to the campus of the University of Kansas which boasts a full-time enrollment of over 30,000 students. The transaction was structured with a 7-year term and 30-year amortization schedule. NorthMarq arranged financing for the borrower, an affiliate of the Boulder, Colorado based Pedersen Development Company though its relationship with a national bank.
