NorthMarq’s Jeff Lamott arranges sale of three-properties in multifamily portfolio

OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS (July 10, 2019) – Jeff Lamott, managing director of NorthMarq’s investment sales division in the Kansas City regional office arranged the sale of three multifamily properties in Topeka, Kansas. The portfolio has a combined 216 total units.

NorthMarq arranged the transaction on behalf of the seller, Orozco Capital Trust, as well as for the buyer, Vertex Investments. 

“The Orozco Portfolio was primarily comprised of ‘90’s-built Class B workforce housing with near 100 percent historical occupancies,” said Lamott. “Located in highly desirable suburban Class A submarkets throughout the capital city, the well-maintained assets enabled new ownership a rare opportunity to immediately focus on rent generating unit and amenity upgrades.”

- Shawnee Lake is located at 3613 SE 30th Terrace, Topeka, Kansas and contains 117-units.

- Wanamaker View is located at 5991 SW 22nd Park, Topeka, Kansas and contains 65-units.

- Brentwood Apartments is located at 4301 SW 15th Street, Topeka, Kansas and contains 34-units.
