Three NorthMarq Capital women selected for Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence issue

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Real Estate Forum published a special women-focused issue in September with a significant portion of the issue reserved to share the selections for this year’s Women of Influence awards. Three NorthMarq Capital women were selected for the prestigious recognition from more than 500 entries. Susan Branscome, managing director/SVP - Cincinnati and Louisville, was selected to the Hall of Fame after winning in the Women of Influence twice previously.  The publication pointed out that she was one of very few women who have started their own mortgage banking firms and once acquired by NorthMarq, she has doubled the growth of business and employees. Sue Blumberg, managing director/SVP – Chicago, was selected in the Women of Influence category, making this her second time in the list. The publication cited her long track record with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, her advocacy of clients and the internal recognition she received as NorthMarq Capital’s prestigious O’Brien/Klebenoff winner in 2013. William Ross noted her encouragement for women at NorthMarq Capital, as the instigator of the “women’s breakfast” at the company’s Production Conference. Nancy Ferrell, managing director/SVP – Baltimore, was selected in the Women of Influence category for her first time in 2018. The publication noted her extensive origination experience in office and industrial properties and her 32 years of experience as one of the first female mortgage bankers in the country. She has also received the O’Brien/Klebenoff award, the company’s top annual award, in 2011.
