DALLAS, TEXAS (February 10, 2023) – Northmarq announces the promotion of Joel Heikenfeld and Bobby Weinberg to senior vice president/managing director in the Dallas debt and equity office. Both producers have been recognized for their experience and successful performance with Northmarq.
“Joel joined Northmarq five years ago bringing over 15 years of experience with him, and Bobby is a Northmarq veteran that has been with the company for 13 years. Joel and Bobby’s valued leadership and insight not only elevate the local Northmarq Dallas office, but their expertise extends nationwide,” said Lauren Bresky, Managing Director, Debt and Equity. “Their well-deserved promotions will allow Northmarq Dallas to continue to provide our clients with strategic solutions and superior service in both local and national capital markets.”
Heikenfeld will continue to fulfill commercial and multi-family clients’ needs within the entire capital stack. He will focus on the equity and preferred equity capitalization needs through Northmarq’s correspondent financing relationships. Heikenfeld joined Northmarq in 2018 as a producer and is seasoned nationwide with over 15 years of commercial real estate experience with over $9 billion in total deal capitalization consisting of construction, permanent, mezzanine, and bridge financing along with joint venture and preferred equity. Joel is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Real Estate from Baylor University and a Master of Accountancy from Baylor University.
Weinberg will continue to arrange financing for multifamily, retail, industrial, and other commercial property types through Northmarq’s debt and equity origination production for clients. Weinberg has been focused on the structuring and implementation of conventional permanent financing, bridge loans, mezzanine, preferred equity, and joint ventures since he joined Northmarq in 2010. Bobby graduated with Cum Laude honors from the M.J. Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University. He received a BBA dual degree in Finance and Accounting.
