Joseph Burke
Joe Burke serves as executive vice president and senior managing director for Northmarq’s Baltimore regional office. He is responsible for all commercial mortgage and equity production in the greater Baltimore area.
Joe has more than 35 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. He joined Northmarq in September 2003 when Northmarq acquired the mortgage banking division of Legg Mason Real Estate Services (LMRES) where he was employed since 1986. He is past president of the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association, and former chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Advisory Committee to the State of Maryland Industrial and Commercial Real Estate Development Fund.
Joe received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and has taught capitalization theory for the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors and income property investment for Johns Hopkins University. He has been a guest speaker for the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
