Kevin McCarthy

Kevin McCarthy serves as managing director of the Chicago regional office, which he joined in 2014. Kevin is responsible for providing clients with creative financing solutions through Northmarq’s direct relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, life company correspondents, commercial banks and CMBS lenders. 

Kevin brings 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry working with both owners and capital providers. In his time at Northmarq Kevin has closed over 150 deals with more the $2 billion in transaction volume. He has worked extensively across all major property types and is primarily focused on multifamily, industrial and mixed-use debt and equity placement throughout the Midwest.

Kevin began his career at Bank of America and US Bank focused on CRE and CLO securitization. Kevin holds a B.S. in finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and lives in Chicago with his wife and two young children.
