Craig Bjornsund

Craig serves as managing director for the New York City regional office. His responsibilities include debt and equity placement for the insurance companies and pension fund investors represented by Northmarq as well as the development of new clients and financing opportunities. 

Craig joined the company in September 2003 when Northmarq acquired the mortgage banking division of Legg Mason Real Estate Services (LMRES) where he was employed since 1984. In his nearly 40 year career, Craig has completed over $10 billion in debt and equity real estate financing and sales. He serves on the Correspondent Advisory Counsel for State Farm and PPM and is a past member of Lincoln’s CAC. He has consistently been among Northmarq’s top producers and has won top producer awards from State Farm, Lincoln, Sun Life and Symetra. 

A licensed real estate broker for 30+ years, Craig is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE). He has been a guest speaker at New York University and has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Craig holds an Associate Broker License in New York.
