Current Responsibilities
Jared’s responsibilities at NorthMarq include underwriting debt and equity transactions, marketing loan requests to lenders, and managing loan closings.
Past Experience
Prior to joining NorthMarq, Jared was an Assistant Vice President of Loan Production at Essex Financial Group for almost seven years. At Essex, Jared managed the underwriting and marketing process for debt and equity transactions and also contributed to the company’s marketing and business development efforts. Jared also worked as an assistant relationship manager with US Bank’s Community Lending Division prior to his time at Essex, overseeing the underwriting and portfolio management of affordable housing projects across the country.
Professional & Community Involvement
Jared has spent several years volunteering for Extreme Community Makeover, where he enjoys working in partnership with residents of local neighborhoods to complete home and neighborhood improvement projects.
Education
Jared holds an MBA from the University of Colorado – Boulder and an undergraduate degree in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
