Drew Neems joins Northmarq’s newly established Miami office, bringing commercial investment sales services to South Florida

MIAMI, FLORIDA (January 10, 2023) — Following the acquisition of Stan Johnson Company, Drew Neems, vice president, has launched a new platform in Northmarq’s recently opened Miami office located in Brickell (Miami’s financial center). Neems is experienced in disposition and acquisition advisory in all commercial asset-classes for a variety of institutional and private capital clients. He brings nearly a decade’s worth of commercial real estate and investment sales expertise to Northmarq’s South Florida office. In partnering with the office’s debt and equity team, Neems will establish the office as a full-service provider for local, regional and national clients.

Neems leads a team of investment sales professionals in the disposition, acquisition and capitalization of single-tenant and multi-tenant net lease retail, industrial, office and medical office properties for a variety of private and institutional client-types nationwide. He specializes in accessing private and institutional capital investors for his clients, in addition to providing an array of investment-sale services. This includes disposition and acquisition advisory, sale-leasebacks, 1031 exchanges, valuation services, market-trend and capital market analysis, and build-to-suits.

Prior to Joining Northmaq, Neems was vice president of investment sales at Imperial Realty in Chicago, where he led the investment sales team in disposition and acquisition advisory across all commercial asset-classes. Before Imperial Realty, he was an investment sales analyst in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets Group. Neems holds a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
