Jeffrey Weidell is the chief executive officer of Northmarq. After serving as president for eight years, Jeffrey assumed the role of CEO in 2020 to continue to lead the company’s growth and transformation strategy. As part of this effort, he launched the Investment Sales business for Northmarq, created talent development with the Associate Producer/Associate Broker program, and initiated broader client offerings to include a new investment advisory fund business. Under his leadership, Northmarq’s loan servicing business has expanded quickly and offers customized client services with industry-leading capabilities.

Earlier in Jeffrey’s career, he was a highly successful mortgage banker, structuring debt and equity financing to meet the unique needs of his clients. He began with Trowbridge, Kieselhorst & Company, which was acquired by Northmarq in 2000, after which he became a Managing Director for Northmarq in San Francisco.

Jeffrey is an active leader in the industry serving as board member of the Silicon Valley chapter of NAIOP, vice chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s COMBOG Multifamily Council, a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), and former president of the Bay Area Mortgage Association. He holds the certified mortgage banker (CMB) designation. Jeffrey earned a BA in Economics from Columbia University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Weidell’s focus for the future is doubling Northmarq’s reach by adding talent and expanding Northmarq’s services and product offerings. This is done with an intense focus on the needs of our clients to make Northmarq their number one choice for service.

Travis Krueger is the Chief Operating Officer of Northmarq. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of the Loan Servicing and newly formed Fund Management businesses. He also oversees the company’s finance and accounting, information technology, human resources, capital services, and marketing communications functions. Travis is integral in merger and acquisition activity for the company, which has been very active in both Investment Sales and Debt and Equity growth. He is a member of the Executive Committee, which has worked to grow the firm to nearly 700 employees, in over 40 offices, with a loan servicing portfolio exceeding $76 billion.

He previously served as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Northmarq and the other Pohlad-owned commercial real estate services companies from 2013-2020, and as Managing Director-Finance and Administration from 2012 – 2013.

Before joining Northmarq, Travis spent 13 years in public accounting, including approximately 12 years with McGladrey, where he served for six years as director. In that role, he was responsible for delivering a wide variety of assurance services to the financial services industry, including mortgage banking, community banking, investment companies, broker-dealers, and other specialty financial services companies including those involved in factoring, leasing, and asset-based lending.

Travis received a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jay Donaldson oversees the production and underwriting of Northmarq’s more than $2 billion Fannie Mae and FHA platforms, which employ more than 60 employees. As a member of the company’s Executive Committee, he leads the collaboration among production offices and the Fannie Mae and FHA/HUD platforms, driving a 25 percent annual increase in transaction volume.

Prior to joining Northmarq, he was COO for AmeriSphere Multifamily Finance, which was acquired by Northmarq in 2015. Over Jay’s 20-year career in lending, he has worked with a variety of product types including agency products, CMBS, bridge, mezzanine, and preferred equity on all types of commercial real estate. He has experience in every discipline of lending from origination to credit to capital markets.

Jay is actively involved in the commercial real estate industry, including serving on the MBA's CREF D&I Task Force. He is a member of MBA's MORPAC Steering Committee, previously serving as Vice-Chair of MORPAC, and the Fannie Mae DUS Advisory Council, while previously serving as the chairman of the Multifamily Committee for the Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors (COMBOG) of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).

Outside of his work obligations, Jay owns Lucky Buck Productions, a production company and recording label supporting a variety of emerging artists.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from Texas Tech University. He is married with two children and lives in Dallas.

Trevor leads Northmarq’s Investment Sales business, which started in 2018 and now offers services across the U.S. from 22 offices. He is responsible for growing the platform to nearly $12 billion in transaction volume and more than 100 brokers and support staff, collaborating with debt and equity producers to bring innovative capital approaches for clients. In addition to leading the day-to-day operations and the continued Investment Sales expansion, he leads the industry’s first Built-to-Rent team, and Northmarq’s specialty practice for Institutional Advisory.

With more than 20 years as an investment advisor, multifamily broker, and CRE expert, Trevor brings deep insights to Northmarq’s clients, offering perspectives for investment sales opportunities, and raising equity for new construction and value-add multifamily projects across the county.

Before joining Northmarq, he operated the No. 1 multifamily investment sales team within Colliers International based in Phoenix and transacting throughout the greater Southwest. He was also recognized as the top producer in Phoenix and a top producer in all product types internationally. With his in-depth experience in the negotiation and successful completion of complex real estate transactions, he provided private client groups, equity partners, and REITs with a thorough economic analysis to guide them towards informed real estate decisions.

Trevor is known as an industry expert, frequently contributing his expertise at industry events and interviews with publications. His transaction success has garnered recognition as a CoStar Power Broker since 2012.

He is a graduate of Arizona State University, a full member of the Urban Land Institute and the National Multifamily Housing Council, and is a licensed pilot.

Jeff is responsible for oversight of Northmarq’s Debt and Equity platform, which spans the U.S. in 40 regional offices. He collaborates with Northmarq’s Investment Sales and Loan Servicing to deliver market-leading solutions across the capital markets. As a member of the executive committee focused on integration and growth, Jeff heads Northmarq’s Associate Producer Program, an industry-pioneering program instrumental in the development of emerging leaders throughout the company.

Jeff brings more than 20 years of experience in the capital markets, advising clients on a wide range of joint venture equity, structured finance, and core debt strategies. His capital relationships span the full spectrum of the market from his previous experience as a member of Fannie Mae’s Originator Subcommittee, Freddie Mac’s Seller Servicer Advisory Board, and his current advisory role with several major correspondent life companies. Jeff has also served as past chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association Originator Council and is an active member within National Multifamily Housing Council.

Jeff is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he is actively involved in the Folsom Institute for Real Estate and SMU’s Life After Ball program.

Patrick joined Northmarq as a producer in 1992 and was promoted to Managing Director of the Minneapolis office in 1997. In 2021, he was promoted to Executive Vice President/Executive Managing Director, serving on the company's Executive Committee, where he is involved in leadership of the company's growth in its three business lines: Debt and Equity, Investments Sales, and Loan Servicing. In addition, he provides oversight of Northmarq's local debt and equity offices, co-leads the Production Committee and the Equity Advisors Group. He joined the Executive Committee in 2017, when he was promoted to Regional Managing Director/Executive Vice President.

He is a proven producer who is experienced in all areas of debt and equity finance, specializing in structured debt, joint-venture equity, and traditional debt, transacting in multiple markets over his more than 25 years of production. 

Patrick is a member of the Minnesota MultiHousing Association, Minnesota Shopping Center Association, Urban Land Institute and the Mortgage Bankers Association. He was treasurer of the Minnesota NAIOP chapter for two years and served on the NAIOP-MN Board for three years. Prior to joining NMC in 1992, Minea was employed with GMAC Mortgage. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Saint John’s University.

John Bradshaw joined Northmarq in 2017 as senior vice president/managing director of the Salt Lake City regional office following the company’s acquisition of his firm, Western Realty Capital Advisors. In addition to leading the Salt Lake City office since 1996, he has also handled origination of approximately $2 billion in income property loans as a mortgage banker with correspondent lenders, insurance companies, banks, Wall Street firms, and other financial institutions, and as a commercial bank real estate loan officer. He’s also negotiated and sold approximately $100 million of institutional properties and joint ventures.

John has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry, beginning in 1983. His experience includes roles as vice president at BFD, analyst for Madison Realty Advisors, professor of Finance at University of Utah, vice president at Security Pacific Commercial Mortgage/Rainier Mortgage Company, and principal/cofounder at North Coast Mortgage Company.

John has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah and an M.B.A from Brigham Young University. He’s licensed as a real estate broker and is currently a part of the Mortgage Bankers Association. John is active in his local church and community affairs.

At Northmarq, Nancy serves as senior vice president/managing director of the Baltimore regional office. She is responsible for the generation of commercial mortgage debt and equity placement along with the development of lender and commercial product sources.

Nancy has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. She began her career as assistant vice president in the corporate banking group of Equitable Bank. Next, she transitioned to Legg Mason Real Estate Services (LMRES) in 1986. Nancy joined Northmarq in 2003 when NorthMarq acquired the mortgage banking division of LMRES.

Nancy has a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Delaware with post graduate work at Johns Hopkins University. She is a member of NAIOP, CREW and ICSC. Nancy has served on a few internal Northmarq Committees.  She is a current trustee for The Bryn Mawr School, chair of the Buildings & Grounds Committee and member of the Executive Committee.  Nancy was a long term board member and past board president for the House of Ruth Maryland and also served as co-Commissioner for Towsontowne Girls Lacrosse Rec Council programs 2004-2009. Nancy was a founding member as well as co-chair of the NAIOP-MD Community Service Committee from 2005-2007.

Paul joined NorthMarq in 1998 after working in the title insurance industry. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota - Morris. Paul is the senior vice president and managing director of NorthMarq Capital Services and the Defeasance Services program and is responsible for the Freddie Mac program nationally. NorthMarq has originated over $25 Billion of Freddie Mac loans since the mid 1990’s. Additionally, he has served on Freddie Mac Servicing and Targeted Affordable Housing Advisory Councils and was the recipient of the NorthMarq 2015 Presidential Award of Excellence and the 2008 Freddie Mac Conventional Mortgage Partnership award.

Dave joined Northmarq in 2003 and has been the managing director of the Denver office of Northmarq since 2014. Active in Colorado real estate since 1997, Dave specializes in Equity and Debt for multifamily, office, retail, industrial and other specialized product types.

Dave received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and obtained his graduate degree in Real Estate from the University of Denver. He completed the Future Leaders program for the Mortgage Bankers Association and is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado. Dave remains active in multiple Colorado real estate organizations. He sits on the Production Management Committee for Northmarq and has been a repeat member of the Producer’s Council which recognizes top annual production for Northmarq. Since joining Northmarq in 2003, Dave has closed equity and debt transactions with a total capitalized value in excess of $8 billion dollars.

Dan joined Northmarq in July 2002 and was promoted to managing director in 2014. He is responsible for structuring debt and equity capital for all types of commercial real estate transactions and managing the Minneapolis debt and equity team.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Dan worked in investment sales at Fuller and Company, a Denver-based commercial real estate brokerage. He also spent several years playing professional hockey for Anaheim, Pittsburgh and St. Louis in the NHL. In the community, Dan served on the Conservation Commission for the City of Eden Prairie, as Treasurer for the Eden Prairie Hockey Association and on the Board of Directors for a local, non-profit housing developer.

Dan earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, and is a member of ULI, NAIOP and the Minnesota Multi-Family Housing Association.

Heidi Grange leads human resources for NorthMarq and is a member of the company’s senior leadership team. She joined NorthMarq in 2020 and is responsible for all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition and management, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy, and the overall employee experience.

Heidi has more than 20 years of human resources experience, including various business partner and HR leadership roles in large and smaller organizations. Prior to joining NorthMarq, she spent most of her career at Thomson Reuters. While at Thomson Reuters, was an HR leader involved in M&A activity, change and transformation initiatives, talent and succession planning, and DEI. Most recently, Heidi was the SVP of HR at an engineering and manufacturing firm in the medical device industry located in the Minneapolis area.

Heidi is an active member of the local MSP HR community, serving on the Board of HR Executive Forum (HREF) and involved in various HR professional groups. She has a BA in Psychology and MS in Human Resources Development and Training.

Bert Libke, Senior Vice President/Managing Director of Servicing; is responsible for Loan Administration (New Loan Boarding, Project Management, Records Management, and Compliance), Investor Reporting, and Escrow (Insurance and Tax) departments. After graduating from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business, Bert was an auditor with a regional CPA firm. In 1993 he joined NorthMarq as a Commercial Mortgage Analyst and then as Manager of Asset Management team. Starting in 2002 Bert served as Director of Servicing at Glaser Financial/MMA Financial until he re-joined NorthMarq in October 2005 as manager of Escrow Administration. Additional leadership responsibilities were added over the years before being named Managing Director in 2014.

JoAnn Neau, who joined Northmarq in 2022 as Chief Marketing Officer, is a 20-year financial services marketing veteran. She has spent her career leading teams to build marketing and brand strategies for Fortune 500 companies.  

Previously, she led digital marketing enablement for Thrivent Financial and headed marketing for two years at Wells Fargo Advisors, the third-largest brokerage firm in the U.S. In addition, she also led marketing, brand, and content strategies catering to ultra-high, net worth investors in Wells Fargo’s Abbot Downing business and worked in a variety of roles for RBC Wealth Management, including director of Marketing and Communications for the U.S. Wealth Management division, and head of Digital Strategy and Innovation.

She began her career at Minnesota Life/Securian Financial and played an instrumental role in creating the broker/dealer extending the service offering for registered representatives and Minnesota Life insurance agents.

JoAnn earned an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, where she also earned a bachelor’s degree in business. Passionate about giving back to the community, JoAnn served nine years on the board of trustees for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association’s (SIFMA) Securities Industry Institute, a partnership with The Wharton School. She also recently started a non-profit for a local charter school. She is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she lives with her husband and four children.

Shawn Power serves as the company’s chief financial officer. In this role, he is responsible for leading the organization’s finance, accounting, treasury, insurance and licensing functions. He previously served as senior vice president/managing director of Finance and Accounting (2019-23), and vice president of Treasury Management and Financial Reporting (2014-19). 

Before joining Northmarq, Shawn spent eight years in public accounting with RSM, most recently serving as an Audit Manager. In that role, he was responsible for delivering a wide variety of assurance services to the financial services industry, including mortgage banking, community banking and other specialty financial service companies including those involved in factoring, leasing and asset-based lending.

Shawn joined the Board of Directors for Aeon, a Minnesota-based nonprofit developer, owner and manager of nearly 6,000 affordable homes in the Twin Cities area, in 2023. He earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from North Dakota State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

As Chief Technology Officer, Heather Anderson leads the company’s digital transformation across all business lines, including application development, cloud, data, information security and business process integration. She is an accomplished information technology leader who excels at understanding business needs and developing technology solutions that drive business strategy.

Heather joined Northmarq in 2020, most recently holding the position of Vice President, Application Services. Prior to Northmarq, Heather held IT leadership roles in the financial industry at TCF Bank and US Bank, in healthcare at vRad and Mednet Solutions, and in consumer packaged goods at General Mills.

She has over 20 years of progressive technology experience, beginning her career as a software engineer before transitioning into IT management. Heather has a reputation for building high performing teams and transforming them into agile, customer-oriented change agents.

Heather graduated cum laude with a degree in Computer Information Systems from St. Cloud State University and earned an MBA in International Business from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she lives with her husband and two children.

Mark Kunkel joined Northmarq in 2022 as SVP/Managing Director – Fund Management to lead the Company’s investment fund business and is a member of the Northmarq Leadership Team. Mark has worked with a broad array of institutional investors in his career, having spent 14 years at CarVal Investors, a $14 billion global fund manager grown out of Cargill, Inc., investing across six different value-add and opportunistic equity and debt fund vehicles totaling $7.8 billion and spanning all property types in the top 30 U.S. markets.

More recently, he advised a variety of owners, developers and CarVal operating partners in finding new sources of institutional debt and equity capital to fund their acquisition and development pipelines. During his career, Mark has invested and managed funds in excess of $3.0 billion.

Mark earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He serves as founder and co-chair of the ULI Capital Markets Council in Minnesota and has been a ULI National Council member since 2014. He previously served as chair of the NAIOP National Investment Management Forum and the Harvard Real Estate Alumni Association in Minnesota. In addition, Mark holds CFA Charterholder and CPA designations.

Tarrah Mueller leads business development for Northmarq’s Loan Servicing business. She works to build authentic business relationships with new and existing clients by sharing Northmarq’s white-glove customer service model and customized business approach to drive lender experience and results.

After spending 18 years progressing within the Portfolio & Asset Management Department, she spent the last ten years responsible for oversight of a department of 25+ employees servicing commercial mortgage loans in excess of $34 billion of unpaid principal on behalf of 60+ life insurance companies. She joined NorthMarq in July 2003 as a Commercial Mortgage Analyst. Prior to NorthMarq, Tarrah worked as an Actuarial Analyst for Principal Financial Group.

Tarrah is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association. She enjoys volunteering time with Habitat for Humanity and Overture International.

She is a graduate of Simpson College in Indianola, IA with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. She is the 2021 recipient of Northmarq's Karen Pribnow Award for Outstanding Leadership.
