About David

David is a managing director/senior vice president responsible for overseeing Northmarq's St. Louis office as well as his own personal production. David has arranged more than $4.5 billion in loan production in his career and provides financing solutions through Northmarq’s preferred life insurance correspondents, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, CMBS lenders and banks. He also has worked with clients on structured finance transactions such as joint venture equity, preferred equity and mezzanine debt.

In 2008, David was promoted to his current leadership role at the St. Louis office. David has recently served on our Fannie Mae DUS Advisory Council and currently serves on Northmarq’s Agency Production Committee. He has also been recognized as a high producer for several life insurance companies and was ranked seventh in the company in total production in 2011 and 2014 and eighth in 2016. Under David’s leadership, Northmarq has been the dominant commercial mortgage banking firm in St. Louis over the past two decades. David also received the honor of being inducted into the Midwest Real Estate News Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame in 2019.

David has been involved in the commercial real estate industry since 1987. Prior to joining Northmarq, he was responsible for the leasing of a 1.3 million-sq.-ft. office portfolio in Portland, Oregon. He began his career in real estate as a leasing agent in Denver, Colorado. David relocated back to St. Louis in late 1998 and joined Northmarq in 1999.

David graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1985 with a B.A. in economics and business administration and has held a real estate license in Colorado, Oregon and Missouri.
