Paul Cairns

Paul Cairns is managing director of Capital Services based in Northmarq's Minneapolis office. He joined Northmarq in 1998 after working in the title insurance industry. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota - Morris. In addition to Capital Services, Paul is also responsible for the Defeasance Services and Freddie Mac programs nationally. Northmarq has originated over $25 billion of Freddie Mac loans since the mid 1990’s. 

Paul has served on Freddie Mac Servicing and Targeted Affordable Housing Advisory Councils and was the recipient of the Northmarq 2015 Presidential Award of Excellence and the 2008 Freddie Mac Conventional Mortgage Partnership award.
