Amy Smith
General Manager

Amy manages a portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties in Denver. She's a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council. She’s been an active participant in the development and management of the EPA’s Region 8 Headquarters building, a 301,000-sq.-ft. property that obtained LEED-Gold certification. Amy shared her passion for sustainable building practices by teaching LEED courses in Tampa and Phoenix in 2008. She has also published articles on sustainable building management practices in various trade publications.

Our team of property managers, operations and property management assistants and engineering/maintenance experts take care of more than 400 properties totaling more than 60 million square feet.

Investors should take comfort in the level of training and expertise held by NorthMarq employees. Managers are encouraged to continually expand their knowledge and skills, either at local universities and colleges or through trade associations. Our employees are members of several associations, including Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA), .

Employees have achieved LEED-AP accreditation, Certified Property Manager (CPM), Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT), Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Facilities Maintenance Administrator (FMA), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA).

We also encourage and support our employees taking leadership roles with professional associations, including on committees and boards of directors.
