NAIOP Maryland Chapter Honors Nancy Ferrell
BALTIMORE, MD (May 21, 2012)—NorthMarq’s Senior Vice President and
co-managing director of the Baltimore office,
Nancy Ferrell, has been honored by NAIOP Maryland. Nancy was presented
the 2012 Service Provider Award in the annual Awards of Excellence Program
at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore held last month.
The award recipient is chosen by a vote of the membership and is based upon
service to the NAIOP chapter.
For NAIOP-Maryland, Nancy formed and then co-chaired the Community Service
Committee from 2005-2007, where she was the driving force behind the first
picnic table build in Druid Hill Park. In her service to the House of Ruth,
she was also instrumental in getting NAIOP members to donate time and
materials to make significant capital improvements to the House of Ruth
facility.
Nancy started her career in finance at Equitable Bank in the early 1980s. In
1986, she joined Legg Mason Real Estate Services, which was acquired by
NorthMarq in 2003. She has consistently been one of the company’s top loan
producers nationwide.
Outside of her NAIOP volunteer activities, Nancy is a trustee for the Bryn
Mawr School and is a longtime board member and past board president of the
House of Ruth. She also was co-commissioner for the Towsontowne Girls
Lacrosse rec council program.
