in Move to New Woodbury Clinic
New 27,000-sq.-ft. clinic plans to open in September 2009
MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 10, 2008) — Summit Orthopedics, Ltd., represented by
Stephen H. Brown, CCIM, of NorthMarq Healthcare Advisory Group, has signed a
long-term lease agreement for a new clinic location at Woodlake Office Park in
Woodbury, Minn.
Summit’s new approximately 27,000-sq.-ft. clinic is a consolidation of
four existing facilities in the Woodbury area. Kraus Anderson Construction
Company is developing the two-story, 38,000-sq.-ft. building at the
intersection of Lake Road and Woodwinds Drive, which will house the new
clinic when it opens in September 2009.
“Summit’s goal with this project is to provide comprehensive orthopedics
services to its patients from one location,” stated Brown. “We have been
working with Summit on this consolidation for over three years and are so
pleased to have a location that meets all their needs.”
NorthMarq evaluated multiple options, including existing facilities, and
Summit ultimately decided that a build-to-suit alternative was the best
option for its new clinic. The landlord is Kraus-Anderson Inc., who was
represented by Jill Rasmussen of Cushman Wakefield. Pope Architects will
provide exterior and interior architectural services for the project.
Summit Orthopedics has worked with Brown to provide real estate services
for its real estate portfolio since 2004.
