NorthMarq Announces Two Industrial Leasing Transactions

MINNEAPOLIS (July 7, 2010) — NorthMarq announces the following industrial real estate leasing transactions completed in June.
 
Verizon Wireless signs lease at Bloomington distribution center
The NorthMarq team of Senior Associate Kris Smeltzer and Senior Vice President Jason Meyer has secured a five-year lease with Verizon Wireless for space at Hampshire Distribution Center in Bloomington, Minn. Verizon Wireless, represented by Ted Carlson and Paul Bickford of Welsh Companies, will occupy 44,700 sq. ft. NorthMarq represented Duke Realty, owner of the distribution center, in the transaction.

NorthMarq represents seller of Bloomington industrial building
Kris Smeltzer and Senior Vice President John McCarthy represented Old Forrester LLC in the sale of a 45,000-sq.-ft. industrial building in Bloomington, Minn. The building, located at 220 81st. St. W., was purchased by Yale Mechanical, a company providing HVAC, piping, sheet metal, millwright and plumbing services. Yale Mechanical was represented by Jack Tornquist and John Ryden of CB Richard Ellis.
